Hello Reader, We have a few updates from this past week that we're excited to share with you. These include:
1. Rowing Plans Now in BetaAs part of our mission to extend HIIT Science principles to more sports, we’re thrilled to introduce our rowing plans for sprint, standard, and long-distance events. Developed by our Athletica and HIIT Science teams, these plans are designed for both on-water and ergometer training, accommodating various training volumes. They are accessible to self-coached athletes and coaches alike. If you’re a rower and would like to participate in our beta testing, please reach out to hello@athletica.ai. 2. Swim Pace Profile AvailableWe are excited to announce the launch of swim pace profile charts for our triathletes. This feature has been in the works for some time but we haven't been able to confidently release, likely due to challenges in swimming data quality. However, with daily improvements in technology capturing swim pace and heart rate, we can now offer this valuable tool. Similar to running pace and cycling power, you can now view your swim pace profile under the charts section. 3. Power/Pace Profile TaggingWe're particularly enthusiastic about this feature and hope you will be too. Your Power and Pace Profiles now display the training session in which you achieved your maximal mean power or pace. Clicking on a data point takes you directly to that session for detailed analysis by both athlete and coach. Reminder: All-New FREE Athlete Profiling Primer CourseEver wonder why we focus so much on an athlete's power and pace profile in Athletica? These are fundamental to understanding your locomotor profile—how you move in your sport and in the world. Knowledge is power, and we want everyone to be empowered. That’s why we're offering a free email course that will teach you how to:
Ultimately everything we aim to do at Athletica. Arm yourself with knowledge and be sure to check it out! Its a 100% free resource.
Looking forward to another great week everyone! Team Athletica |

The forum lit up. “Can Athletica build an adaptive HYROX plan?” Today—we’ve delivered. What is HYROX, anyway? HYROX has rocketed from just 650 pioneering athletes in 2017 to roughly half a million competitors across five continents in the 2024-25...
